Crete is another island for long walks thru marketplaces and towns. Enjoy a bottle of Greek beer. A visit to Knossos Palace Ruins is informative but the guided tour is too long in that heat, in my opinion. King Minos is depicted on a wall. The palace is the legendary site of the Labirynth where lived the Minataur.
