If you like bird's view then you need to climb up some hills right behind Matala. The best is this one because there is probably strategic place. When u look down u see whole Matala with its bay and beach, on the right can be seen other beach called Komos and nearby villages such as Kalamaki, Kalimari etc. and on the other side there is just sillouettes of nearby places surrounded by the Libyan sea. If you want to climb these hills, take good shoes and a water. :) You will need it... it isn't dangerous, everywhere can be found paths.
